The fashion show showed of the Red Dress Collection 2010, which helps raise awareness about women's heart disease. Kim Kardashian was also in New York to promote her new fragrance and show her Bebe fashion line. Reggie Bush was also with her in New York City and Bryant Park.

Finally, the much awaited wedding of two of the most beautiful faces in Philippine showbiz happened. John Estrada and Priscilla Meirelles beach wedding was held at Thunderbird Resort in La Union on February 26, 2011. Some of the pictures were posted below.

Ten years of age gap, TV host - John Estrada was 37 while the Brazilian model, Priscilla was 27. However, when they vowed and promised that they will be together for better or for worst, age didn't matter anymore.

The wedding was attended by celebrities from different television networks and movie industries. Mother Lily Monteverde of Regal Films, Ben Chan, the owner of Bench, Vicky Belo, the renowned celebrity doctor and Cory Vidanes of ABS-CBN were the principal sponsors.

Lorna Tolentino, Kris Aquino, AiAi delas Alas, Richard Gomez, Sam Milby, Vina Morales, Ogie Alcasid, Vina Morales, Hayden Kho, Johnny Manahan and Gabby Concepcion were among the celebrities who supported the couple in their most important day.

According to "The Buzz", The John Estrada-Priscilla Meirelles wedding will be aired on the second week of March.

John Estrada and Priscilla Meirelles Wedding

ABS-CBN TV host/actor John Estrada and Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles who first met each other in 2004 finally tied the knot in the afternoon of February 26, 2011, at the Thunderbird Resorts at Poro Point in San Fernando, La Union.

The couple had their most anticipated and talked-about sunset wedding in with their family and friends. Priscilla's family and close friends from Brazil were also present during their wedding ceremony.

Priscilla, a 27-year old beauty queen form Brazil was dazzling and voluptuous in her white wedding gown designed by Randy Ortiz. Meanwhile, John, who was formerly married to Janice de Belen, was undeniably the man of the hour in his most handsome form.


GMA TV host/actor Richard Gomez stood as John's Best Man replacing Willie Revillame while John's 13-year-old son Yuan was the Junior Best Man. Bridesmaids were his three daughters, Inah, Moira and Kaila.

Principal sponsors were Bench owner Ben Chan, ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes and controversial cosmetic surgeon Dra. Vicki Belo.

The wedding entourage composed of showbiz personalities like Gabby Concepcion, Lorna Tolentino, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Ogie Alcasid, Randy Santiago, Anjo Yllana, Lucy Torres-Gomez, Ginger Conejero and Sandra Seifert. Mother Lily Monteverde, Hayden Kho, Sam Milby, Vina Morales and Kris Aquino were also present during the event.

Two Filipinos Made It to American Idol Top 24

The whole Filipino nation will again set their eyes in the 10th season of the popular US reality show American Idol because of the two Filipino hopefuls, Clint Jun Gamboa and Thia Megia, who made it to the top 24.

Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) reported on February 24 that Clint Jun Gamboa made it to the top 24. Meanwhile, in the February 25 episode, the 15-year old Thia Megia also made it on the same list. Thia was the last female who was able to join the Top 24.

Next week, the top 12 female and male contestants will have a series of competition in which the voting audience will select the 6 male and female finalists who will compose the Top 12.

Aside from Clint, other male contestants are Brett Lowenstern, Jovany Barreto, Jacob Lusk, Paul McDonald, Robbie Rosen, Stefano Langone, Jordan Dorsey, Tim Halprin, James Durbin, Casey Abrams, and Scotty McCreery. Other female contestants are Naima Adedap, Julie Zorilla, Karen Rodriguez, Lauren Turner, Kendra Chantelle, Ashton Jones, Rachel Zevita, Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina Suddeth, Pia Toscano, and Ta-Tynisa Wilson.

The most recent Filipina who made it at the Top 12 of the American Idol was Ramiele Malubay of Season 7 wherein David Cook was declared as winner. Jasmine Trias, also a Filipina, ranked 3rd in Season 3 where Fantasia Barrino was declared as the winner. Camille Velasco has been part also of Season 3 and she reached Top 9.

American Idol is hosted by Ryan Seacrest while Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez will be the judges for this season.

Coco Martin Walkout Issue in Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin

The fast rising actor Coco Martin denied the walkout issue in the set of "Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin", the newest primetime soap opera in ABS-CBN. According to him, there was once a time that they were set to shoot at Camp Capinpin, Tanay, Rizal but because of heavy rains and bad weather, he asked their permission because he cannot do the taping anymore. About the issue of walkout, he said he has no rights to do that stuff.

Local reports confirmed that Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin will be aired on March 7, 2011. Aside from Coco Martin, it will be starred by Andi Eigenmann, Martin del Rosario, Lorna Tolentino, Tonton Gutierrez, Amy Austria, Candy Pangilinan, Ronnie Lazaro, Boots Anson Roa and Ronaldo Valdez.

Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin features the dual character of being a soldier and a rebel. Coco will be portraying the character of a long-haired rebel named Javier , and will depict the character of 2nd Lt. Alexander del Tierro as a military soldier.
