The Commission on Higher Education through PAGASA-DOST said that the decision for cancellation of tertiary/college classes are dependent on the college/university officials.

According to a DZMM interview, Malacañang suspended classes at all levels (preschool, elementary, secondary and tertiary/college) in the National Capital Region (NCR) upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). As mentioned, the announcement came from the Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda.
